FIRST 24-48 HOURS

Your nail enhancements — whether acrylic, structured soft gel, or Gel-X — need time to fully set and bond. Treat them gently, avoid strenuous activities, and give yourself time to adjust to their length and feel.

PROTECT YOUR NAILS

Wear protective gloves for chores such as dishwashing, cleaning, or gardening
Avoid contact with harsh chemicals and extreme temperature changes (e.g, hot tubs, saunas, ice baths)
Limit pressure on your nails — heavy impact or repetitive pressure can cause lifting or breakage

Several health conditions and medications will also affect your natural nails, enhancements and how they wear.

IF YOU NOTICE LIFTING OR SEPARATION

Never glue enhancements back on. Without proper preparation, this can trap moisture and lead to bacterial infection.
Contact us for a professional repair to prevent further damage.

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

Acrylic Rebalance: Every 3-3.5 weeks
Structured Manicure/Soft Gel Overlay: Every 3 weeks
Gel-X: Typically replace every 4 weeks—these are replaced rather than filled
Full Removal & New Set: Around 2-3 months (for acrylic and soft gel), at the end of a Gel-X cycle, depending on current condition and lifestyle

AVOID PICKING & PEELING

Do not rip, peel, or bite at your enhancements, hangnails, or surrounding skin. This can cause injury, inflammation, and increase infection risk. Always have your enhancements removed by a professional.

MOISTURIZE & NOURISH

Daily moisturizing is essential for strength, flexibility, and long-lasting beauty.

Apply moisturizer and cuticle oil regularly to prevent dehydration, hangnails, and lifting.
